Kundapur: Suspected Naxals Devendra and Saroja produced in court

Kundapur, Feb 19: Two people who were arrested in connection to naxal activities were produced in court on Monday February 18 amidst tight security.

The two arrested are Devendra and Horale Saroja.

As per the information obtained, 9 cases have been filed against Saroja out of which 7 are acquitted and investigations of 2 cases are going on. There were 9 cases filed against Devendra too but without sufficient proof, 8 cases are acquitted.

On Monday, the court carried investigations and as per section 313, the interrogation is now postponed to February 22.

Kundapur advocate Prakash Heggde contested the case on behalf of the arrested.
