Open to parliamentary probe in chopper deal: Kamal Nath


New Delhi, Feb 19 (IANS): The United Progressive Alliance government is open to a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into the VVIP chopper deal, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath said Tuesday.

"We are open to any probe, including a JPC, if it satisfies everyone," Kamal Nath told reporters here two days ahead of the budget session of paliament starting Feb 21.

Apprehending the opposition will disrupt the houses over the controversial deal, he said the government was not hesitant in discussing any issue.
