Life near normal in Taj City

Agra, Feb 20 (IANS): Life in the Taj city was mostly normal Wednesday despite a nation-wide strike called by leading trade unions.

While bank employees struck work and UP Roadways buses went off the roads, schools and colleges were open and so were shops in the city.

Agra is essentially a city of shopkeepers and small-scale units in the private sector.
