SC stays Veerappan aides’ hanging for 6 months


Bangalore, Feb 20 (Agencies) : The Supreme Court Bench headed by Chief Justice Altamas Kabir extended the stay on the execution of death sentence of four Veerappan aides for six months.

The order said it will wait for the judgement of another bench, which is hearing a plea for the commutation of death sentence. Apex court adjourned hearing on the plea by Veerappan aides by six months.
