Prof M L Samaga, president, Karnataka Yakshagana Bayalata Academy, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp in the presence of Dathananda Gangoli, Birthi Rajesh Shetty, Nagaraj Somayaji, Hebbar, Jannani Divakar Shetty, Charan Raj, and others.

After the show, Prof Samaga said that in the modern era giving a technological touch to traditional Yakshagana was something new. “This is just the beginning of such innovations in a fast changing world,” he said and congratulated the organizers for their great initiative in arranging such a programme.
