Bantwal: Youth suffering from illness commits suicide on railway track

Bantwal, Mar 3: A youth who was suffering from illness allegedly committed suicide on the railway track at Kodaje near Mani here on Sunday March 3.

The deceased has been identified as Sampath Rai (23), son of Vaman Shetty, a resident of Sagu in Mani.

Sampath was employee of a company in Mangalore. It is said that he was lately suffering from a heart ailment and had even undergone surgery.

Sources said that on Sunday he jumped in front of a train moving from Mangalore towards Puttur and died immediately.

Vittal police led by inspector Madhava Kudlu examined the body and found a death note written in English in Sampath's pocket.

In the note, Sampath stated that he had committed suicide for personal reasons, and that nobody should be held responsible for his death.

The body's identity was determined based on the information obtained from his mobile phone which was lying near the track.

Railway police officer T Sanjeeva Naik and other personnel visited the spot and registered a case.

    he is 23 yet he would frighted with it.a storng "will power" of person will help to come out of like this problems..

    May not have found help coming from ANY CORNERS!
    People opposed to setting up of NGO's and branding them would be cursed for such unnatural deaths!

    Society should do good work or encourage good work of somebody!
    Never discourage!

    Committing suicide is murdering self! We didn't bring life, we shouldn't take our life for our body is temple of God.

    BUT SOMETIMES SO HEALTHY PEOPLE WHEN BECOME CRIPPLING SICK A KIND OF DARKNESS APPEARS FROM NOWHERE.
