All thanks to the BJP government. If the roads were good then perhaps the thief wouldnt have had skidded his bike and no one would have been able to catch him red handed. This wouldnt have been possible if BJP Govt was in power. BJP always gives justice to everyone..All hail BJP govt.

The victim is very lucky to have got her chain back. It is a very bad thing that chain snatching is on the high rise here!! Despite innumerable such cases taking place our people are still finding pride in flaunting the yellow metal. Since the prices have run through the roof, it is a very big kill for the robbers even if they lay their hands on a few grms everyday!! Unless going in a group in a pvt. vehicle, it is not at all advisable to wear gold anymore!! Nobody is safe! There is even a risk to life as there happen to be many cases wherein the snatchers do not hesitate to attack on being resisted!! Once these youngsters get into easy money they fall prey to all types of vices, wherein a vicious cycle starts and they have to commit more and more to support their lifestyle!!

Studies show that many of these petty thieves when in jail come in contact with bigger groups and organized criminals and graduate to more violent and brutal crimes when they are out of their prison term!!

What causes teenagers to make choices that could destroy their future?
Top Four Warning Signs that Your Child is in Trouble:
    1. Isolates from the family: If your teen starts withdrawing from you or your spouse, there's a reason. As a parent, it's your responsibility to identify what's behind the change.
    2. An extreme shift in mood: If a your child garrulous and friendly one moment, then taciturn and angry the next means he or she may be hanging out with the wrong crowd, or experiencing changes hormonally, neurologically or socially.
    3. He or she starts abusing drugs or alcohol: When drug use takes a toll, you may notice a rapid loss of weight, paleness of the skin, discoloration, dark circles under the eyes, shaky hands, ping grades, more absences from school than you know about, sudden mood changes, and rise in anger at family members.
    4. Taking risks: Don't chalk your child's truancy or bunking, vandalism or petty theft up to "teens being teens." It indicates a number of things, one of which is that they don't have the ability to connect their choices with their consequences.
You can't be in denial about what's going on. Don't kid yourself that these bad things just happen to other people's kids. Know what's going on with your child. Make sure they understand the consequences of their actions,
Make one false move in life and you will permanently destroy your future, go to prison and end up getting a permanent scar on your character.

I was posted as Jail supertendednt in 3 major jails in Karnataka. The one thing i observed is that almost 70% of jail inmates are belongs to one particular community who comprise only 12% of general population of India. More often I read the crap that poverty is main reason behind robbery. Adivasis are more poor than any other community but even than you won’t find any Adivasi indulging in this kind of hardcore crimes. Poverty has nothing to do with crime. It’s the upbringing which makes people different.

Right said..its all about right upbringing. Such upbringing can only happen if you responibly think about having and raising kids, not producing just for the sake of increasng numbers. If the kid begins lack of care from their parents due to many siblings or their activites are not moniterd by parents due to their work, financial conditions, lack of time, too many kids then its not diffcult for children to stray as they grow up.

    Method of public 'treatment' good.

    But didn't yield much result.

One leg and one hand should have been treated well (like heat-treatment)

Some chain-snatchers and human-rights activities may not like this treatment.

Accused are punished then & there by the Supreme Power . Hope & pray this will happen to the other accused too esp to the third grade criminals. So that they would think twice before committing a crime. O Lord kindly save your people and have mercy on us.Only YOU can protect us and nobody else. Our Government doesn't take any action against these criminals, so crimes are on the rise.
