Dubai, Mar 10: Lancy Noronha, singer and music composer is yet again set to captivate his fans with his ‘5th Lancy Musical Nite’ in Dubai on Friday April 19.

The event will be held at JSS English Speaking School from 6 pm onwards. Known for his melodious Konkani songs and hymns, Lancy has rendered successful music shows and released CDs in UAE and India.

Lancy Noronha and team with Joseph Mathias – MD of Merit Freight Systems Company LLC, Dubai will enthral the audience with their comprehensive entertainment. Adding zest and vibe to the event with foot stomping tune will be Ramiro Mascarenhas the famous music director in the UAE. The nite promises to be fun and groovy with laughs and tickles by Pradeep Barboza and team with their hilarious skits.

Antony Mascarenhas will captivate the audience with his wonders of magic and showcase of dancing talent will be provided by Arun Feet Beat Group which will keep one and all wanting for more.

The nite will have various performing singers - Lancy Noronha, Joseph Mathias, Roshan D’Silva, Jeevan Vas, Dainy D’Souza, Vincent Rodrigues Vinod Rodrigues, Mario Rego, Dony Correa, Preema Lobo, Sabita Mathias, Shyna Noronha, Lanita Noronha, Jerina Lewis, Asha Fernandes, Cresilla and Asha Correa.  UAE’s artistic MC couple Dony and Asha Correa will conduct the entire event with their unique aptitude. 

This will be an absolute perfect event for all music lovers across the UAE.

As a singer, Lancy Noronha has been a popular name since his childhood days in his native parish of Bellore and then in Valencia parish.  Having won many accolades since then, Lancy rendered his mellowed voice to various musical nites such as ‘Talo Umalo Nite’, ‘Raymond Nite’, ‘George Fernandes Nite’, ‘Bantwal Varadovar Nite’ etc. Being a member of famous group ‘Brother’s Beat Group’ Mangalore, he has provided great musical entertainment with them in India. Moving to UAE further established Lancy his venture in the Middle East with his participation in musical events of various organizations and associations like Daiji Rang Mandir, Ferarites,  Konkan Yuva,  Katapady Konkan’s, Udyavarites, Omzoorche Dive, and several others.

In 2007, Lancy formed a musical group, ‘Shylan’ to provide a platform for young and amateur singers which showed his true consideration to promote other talents of Konkani community in the UAE. The  turning point was the release of Lancy’s Konkani Hymnal CD, ‘Mori Mai’ in St Mary’s Church Dubai  in 2007 which was exclusively composed by him and voiced by Shylan artists went on to become very popular. It didn’t stop there - in 2011,  ‘Moga Sagor’ was released which was also as successful as the first album.

One of the most memorable milestone of Lancy’s career was his first ever musical nite in Dubai,’ The Lancy Nite’ which witnessed a full house at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium in 2011 and won compliments from both audience and media alike. Lancy’s musical shows continued in Mangalore with great appreciation from the audience.
