Dubai: Praveen Sequeira elected president of Udentichim Neketram

Dubai, Mar 12: Praveen Sequeira from Siddakatte has been elected the president of 'Udentichim Neketram', the Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association, while Vinay Pinto from Paladka has been elected as the general secretary for the year 2013-14.

The election was held during its committee meeting held recently at the Al Shay Restaurant, Karama, Dubai, UAE.

The energetic and talented Praveen Sequeira thanked everyone for having trust in his capabilities and electing him as president, and promised to lead the association with new ideas, and requested support and help from all the committee members. Actively involved in all the association activities, he is also the founder member of MVCA.
 
The annual general body meeting was held recntly at Creek Park Dubai. The meeting began with Melwin Cardoza’s inaugural prayer followed by a warm up session conducted by Richard Saldana. President Joshve D’Souza welcomed the gathering and asked everyone to give innovative ideas to take forward the association in a healthier way. Herman Lewis from 105.4 Radio Spice was the special guest for the day. He lauded the association for how it thinks and does things in different ways.

Ullas Fernandes conducted the selection of members according to their parishes and a few rules are amended by the majority of people.
