Very tragic and my deepest condolences to the diseased .But It has been found by research that Crane related deaths can be prevented if proper safety measures are taken in advance .It is a very big subject But for the benefit of readers I would like to put some important Life saving tips
    1. The Crane should be in good working condition
2, The Crane operator should be well qualified and trained
    3. The Crane should be parked on a solid support without any chance of collapsing
4.while lifting the Load no load should be lifted by crane above its own safe working Load
    5. The Lifting gears should be inspected once in a quarter and if found damaged should not be used and No load above the safe working load of the Lifting gears should be lifted
    6. Care should be taken to see that Crane is not touching any Live wires
7.While putting the load proper rigging practices should be used to see that No load gets slipped and fall
8.The area where lifting takes place should be well cordoned off
9.There should be only one qualified signal man and the crane operator should follow his instructions
10 .Care should be taken so that swinging of the load is prevented with proper Tag lines
These are only some important points IN INDUSTRY SAFETY FIRST
