Pakistan's lower house dissolved

Islamabad, Mar 17 (IANS): Pakistan's lower house of parliament, the National Assembly, was dissolved at midnight Saturday on completion of its five-year constitutional term, an official announcement said.

The ministry of parliamentary affairs issued a notification about the dissolution of the 342-member National Assembly, Xinhua reported.
