Mangalore, Mar 20: A public awareness drive on the upcoming state Assembly elections has been launched in the city, said deputy commissioner N Prakash at a press meet held at the DC's office here on Wednesday March 20 at 10 am.

N Prakash briefed the details relating to the awareness drive. He was accompanied by MCC commissioner Harish Kumar, additional deputy commissioner Dayanand, zilla panchayat CEO Dr K N Vijayaprakash and others.

Information related to the voters' list and other related aspects, and information regarding SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation Plan) was also revealed on this occasion.

An important aspect of SVEEP is to make sure that there will be cent percent voting in the elections. A special committee has been formed for the purpose which will be presided over by the zilla panchayat CEO.

A website has been created for any work related to the electoral participation, like enrollment, deletion of name, modifications in voter's id, cross checking, enquiries etc. The website is www.ceokarnataka.kar.nic.in.

The website provides all the information related to the electoral issues and enquiries. It was discussed that the voters who have received their EPICs can use the same to find the exact ward number, division number and other basic info, including information on election officers and centres.

"The programme has been initiated with the basic idea to motivate the voters to vote for a better society. The SVEEP awareness has been carried out in public places where crowds gather on a daily basis such as bus stands, bus stops, railway station, malls, movie theaters and elsewhere," the DC said.

"Banners, stickers on vehicles etc will be used to spread awareness about the programme," said Dr K N Vijayaprakash.

WE HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE OF PARTY RULE. ATLEAST THIS TIME VOTERS FOR A CHANGE VOTE INDIVIDUALS INSTEAD OF PARTY CANDIDATES SO THAT ALL ELECTED CANDIDATES COME TOGETHER AND THEIR LEADER AS CM WHERE LIES REAL DEMOCRACY AND SAY NO TO PARTY LIKE CONGI, BJP, JDS, KJP ETC. CENTRAL/STATE PARTIES WITH HIGH / LOW COMMAND RULING THE STATE /COUNTRY WHICH IS NOT AT ALL GOOD FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE.

LOCAL PEOPLE IN EACH CONSTITUENCY MUST SEE THAT CLEAN AND COMMITTED CANDIDATES FIGHT THE ELECTIONS.
IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER WHICH PARTY WINS MAJORITY.
BUT A BAD MINDED MLA FROM MOJORITY PARTY IS THE WORST SCENARIO.
IT WILL BE LICENCE TO LOOT, LOOT & LOOT.............................

All secular minded people should come together and should bring out list of "Moral Policing", "Attacks on Women" "Attacks on worship places" "Implication innocents" "Non action against culprits" in the Mangalore and Udupi district by Taliban outfits in the past 5 years to create awareness in people for making wrong choice in 2008.

Do not forget to inform about their association with political parties.

WE WANT SECULAR MANGALORE AND UPUPI DISTRICT, WHERE PEOPLE CAN LIVE WITHOUT FEAR.

MANGALORE AND UDUPI SHOULD GET THEIR SECOND INDEPENDENCE ON MAY 8TH 2013 FROM ALL TALIBAN OUTFITS..

JAI HAO.... GOD BLESS MANGALORE AND UDUPI DISTRICT.
