All big talks. Doesn't make any sense. Instead it will create misunderstanding in the society. This lady wants to become famous fast and hence giving all these talks. Madam..can you question your own government in Delhi (where CM is a lady, Congress president is a lady who too stays in Delhi) about steps taken against the increasing number of rapists in Delhi? Do you have any guts to stand for women in your neighbourhood who suffer due to rapes, dowry and other issues?

    Madam R, Salian,
It comes across as a one woman is unable to tolerate the success of another. For Godsake she is a first time corporator. Let her do what she has to. SHe is new and time will tell if she will reward the people who elected her with their faith or vice versa. Even before someone tries to do something people like you are always around to criticize and tell them to do this and that. If so , why dont you try and contest elections and see if you will get even one vote. Eerna Nanjida pathera eregla yedde malpujji. Not even you, let alone others.

    Ms. Misquith,
you need to change your wording to say, Women command the same dignity, respect and rights in the society rather than saying women are equal to men...How can it be??? A woman can give birth and a man cannot....

My coment is for those who opposed woman are equal to man:
you are a son and will you agree that you mother is greater than you?
you are a father and dont you agree your wife is the one who take care of your family and she is great?
do you show any difference between your son and daughter?
I completely agree that women are not only equal to men but they are the best in this world....I admire my mother, wife and sisters for their dedication towards their family....

:...also to say empowered women in pictures , its because their husbands work 24*7 for betterment of family. They have lot of time as house wives to talk and organise themselves under populism culture and spread propaganda. Eg: as panchayats have reservations , most of stay athome women get tickets while their other half working hard far places. They have enough time to contest elections and give speech on women empowerment , while their ROJI ROTI depends upon husbands had earned money.

The contribution from Men are seriously under valued as populism about women propaganda growing day and day. Be it wars , working in mines , or in crisis , its men who step up and get head on. Women on other hand complete by their domestic skills . It may be true that women coming out closet of four walls , but they cannot forget domestic duties they are bound for. Even a white collar wives will agree with this. Empowerment should not be of reversing roles but getting best of them. Its not about compete but to complete each other.

I personally feel and think that women and men are equal. In-fact, women are more stronger in their will to resolve and their thinking capacity is more than men. However the role played by women in the society is less or role given to them is less in society. Now a days she works hard at work place and at home. She has double work than previously only housework.

MEN EXCITE WITH THE EXPOSURE AND WOMEN EXCITE WITH THE TOUCH.
Both men and women should have moderate dress.
My opinion to women and men are to use their rationale mind wisely and not wisely.

    shahanaz e-i-c,
    Plenty of people drink alcohol.
Think how much rape should be daily. your statement doesn't hold water.

Community thinks women are less to men in intelligence and religion.

women are eligible to be beaten by husband for disobedience.

    Men are obedient always?!
men should be beaten for disobedience.

Women should be treated equally not unequally.

It is not women are equal to men. Women have abilities on par with them. They compliment each other for a happy life, family, society.

men need to acknowledge, this ability in women and give them due respect - how? Give them the freedom of expression, movement and life.
Give respect for their opinions, than dismissing them even before the sentence is complete.

provide a safe and secure environment for them to live, by them and through them, the men community needs to be educated.

Don't use them as objects of beauty, lust, demonstration of power (muscle and fiscal), ownership etc.

Respect their judgement. Allow them to differ.

Forget the philosophical ' they are mothers, sisters godesses crap, and treat them as equal individuals, who are as capable to run this world, albeit differently.

It is not only women are equal to men it is also that women do more work than men. All depends on the mind set of the men. Man does not want to give up his authority over woman. If the wife delivers a baby girl the husband thinks it is the fault of the woman, though women are aware that man is responsible for the sex of the child but the man is not prepared to accept it. It says "Man is superior than all creatures on this earth". The woman wants to move forward in life but the man mind set sticks to the age old meaningless tradition. When the day is going to come where man will give up his superiority and thinks that he is equal to woman.

The women are totally equal to men, besides they are playing the cardinal role in the procreation so they must be greatly respected by the society. When a nation shows less regard for the women, that is highly shameful, besides it is a sub-standard and uncivilized behaviour.

I WONDER HOW THE GUYS IN DELHI, BHOPAL & AGRA DO NOT HAVE THIS IN COMMON.
WOMANHOOD IS THE GENESIS POINT OF ORIGIN OF ANY MAN.
HOW CAN ANY MAN DISPROVE OR DISAPPROVE A WOMAN?
