Mangalore, Mar 21: “Clear the path for the construction of Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as discussed by the religious heads of various regions in the convention held at the ‘Maha Kumba Mela’,” said T A P Shenoy, Pranth secretary, VHP, Karnataka.

He was addressing a press meet held on Thursday March 21 in the city.

“A nationwide convention was held at the Kumba Mela on February 6 and 7, 2013, wherein religious leaders from all over the country had taken part. Four major important decisions were taken at the convention. They were - Way should be cleared for the construction of Sri Ram Mandir; high end efforts and plans have to be made to purify River Ganga and to maintain its purity forever; cow slaughter has to be stopped and cattle breeding has to be encouraged; atrocities against women has to be completely stopped and women have to be given protection,” he said.

"All the community members have been urged to follow these guidelines in the coming days and adhere to it so as to keep the society safe," he added.

"A firm decision to construct the Ayodhya Ram Mandir has to be passed in the Parliament. Nationwide awareness is needed for this agenda to be a success. For this, every Hindu community home should recite the Vijay Maha mantra ‘Sri Ram Jaya Ram Jaya Jaya Ram’ everyday starting from ‘Ugadi’ (April 11, 2013) to ‘Akshaya Trithiya’ (May 13). ‘Rama Yajnas’ will be held in various parts of the country for this purpose,” said Shenoy.

Leaders like Sudamshu Patnayak, South India associate secretary, VHP, Krishnamurthy, division secretary, VHP Mangalore division, Sharan Pumpwell, division convenor, Bajrang Dal, Mangalore division, and others were present.

Will Sri.Ram himself want a temple built for him with so much of dirty politics involved in this? How can a temple that leads to the blood bath will ever be called holy? Human body is the most temple of Living God and if to construct an artificial temple many holy temples need to be sacrificed then whats the use of building such a temple?

When you mean "Protection for women" do you mean women of India or are foreign female tourists are covered under this agenda? Do think of protecting foreign tourist women - you money-conscious people of little knowledge. If not, you may find that no tourists coming to India and the revenues that flow into the country from foreign tourism will simply stop flowing in.

Dear VHP why don't you support and build small houses to the poor and give them a good life. Your lord Ram will be happy to see people smile and lead a good life. When all are happy build a grand temple. I will also support and donate for the noble cause. But do not bark when elections are nearing. We are fed up with the noise for many years. Live and let live others peacefully.

This is like CT Ravi going through the quarterly report at the end of BJP Govt. term and trying to hurry up
notifying land for construction of houses for BPL.
Now 5 years are about to get over, all this time these guys were busy making money wherever they could put their hands on and now talking of building of Ram Mandir. These things above No.1 and 2 happen with BJP only when next election is a couple months away!!!
I have serious doubt about these guys being religious at all.
But they should know by now these gimmicks for vote are stale.
May be now Muthalik can give them new ideas!!!!!
They are all birds of a feather...

    1. Ganga has to be cleaned - environment issue
    2. Women are to be protected - sing of a mature society
    3. Many more must breed cows - fully agree because, more the rearing, more the milk and milk products, more organic manure, more food (for those who consume).
    4. ram mandir should be constructed - yes, can we construct it elsewhere, even Mangalore, because we have many temples, we are known for temple tourism. Do not stick to Ayodhya, this creates communal disharmony. God is everywhere, so let us build it where people have the money and the energy to construct.

If they make little changes such as ‘high end efforts to purify River Ganga and to maintain its purity forever cow slaughter and cattle breeding has to be encouraged” then nobody will stop them from coming to power.
The moment you bring the temple and food substance together there is trouble every where and people do not vote you.
Think about schools and hospitals and a Ram Temple in every village,I assure you I will join your campaign.

Why is it that these people remember Ayodhya temple only during elections? It is easy to allure struggling people on basis of Mandir/Masjid and this is the only art our politicians have mastered.

There is no problem in building grand RAM MANDIR in Ayodhya as court cleared the deck. The issue may be in SC but by and large the verdict be in the line with HC. Surprisingly, the issue raised when there is LS or Assembly elections were ahead.I see some vested agenda in BD/VHP's 'PARAMANU'and we foreseeing more disturbances in the wake of election for ASSEMBLY as well as LS election in near future.
