Sunny day in Delhi


New Delhi, Mar 25 (IANS): It was a sunny morning in the capital Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 17.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of year. The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"A clear day lies ahead for the capital. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 68 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature settled four notches above the season's average at 34.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was five notches above average at 21.8 degrees Celsius.
