Mulayam Singh hits out at Congress; calls them 'clever and cheats'

Saifai, Mar 28 (PTI): Addressing SP workers at his native place Saifai on Wednesday, Yadav said Congress always does things keeping in mind elections.

"First, the party waived farmers' loan slightly and then the elections took place which saw Congress winning a convincing majority.

"They are so clever and such cheats that people believe them all the time," Yadav charged and asked the people not to fall for Congress' tactics.

Hinting at his ambitions for a larger role in national politics, Yadav said coming Lok Sabha elections is the "real elections as Delhi means everything".

"State governments don't mean much. They are like your 'patwari' (revenue official) and government in Delhi is akin to your Collector", the SP chief said.

Speaking on the occasion, Yadav's son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said party workers' next target should be to see Yadav in the throne in Delhi.

The SP chief claimed that in next Lok Sabha elections, SP would be in the role of a kingmaker and party workers should work hard so that the party can done the key role.

He said the faith with which people installed a SP government in Uttar Pradesh has to be reiterated in Lok Sabha elections.

    THE BLAME GAME IS NOT NEW TO PEOPLE.

    I supported Congress for several years. Now that they have ruined the country by all types of
    scams and wrong policies I am definitely not going to support UPA. We want a strong PM with
    a real backbone (development & peace)and an efficient Govt at the Centre

    He is right in saying Congress is smart and a thief, but why he is supporting the thieves, he should answer this question first. He has got cases of income dispropotinate asssets against him, let him come clean. He is a thug who provides shelter to people like Raja Bhaiya, who was recently in the news for killing an SP., he suddenly has showered praise on Mr. Advani of always telling the truth. Who has given this ugly looking bhaiya the right to differentiate between right and wrong. Power hungry d*gs who are least interested in the development of the country, but only their and their family welfare, we dont need such useless politicians to run this country.

    Mulayam Singh has evidently proved by his several past actions that he is a time server and opportunist to the core. The best thing for him to do is to focus on the present governance by Akilesh & Co. and for once let U.P. set a good example in governance to the rest of the Country . Yes the Congress is certainly cunning and they are cheats.But which is the party which is any different today. All these old goons have to die and the youngsters of India have to take up governance. That will take a couple of years to happen, till then it's best to keep trust in the Old Known Devils and vote for the best Candidate and party. Youngsters especially should go and vote in large numbers for the right candidate in their respective constituencies.

    Mulayam is seriously thinking of 2014 LS election to be pre poned.He had contact with all regional parties and taken them to confidence to form a third viable alternative entity in next LS election.Before end of his life,he want to become PM of this country that is why hectic consultations are taking place.His last comments @ Advani indicates his ambition.
