DSIIDC allots 127 industrial plots

New Delhi, Mar 29 (IANS): The DSIIDC Friday allotted 127 industrial plots in the national capital.

The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corp said these were given away under a relocation policy aimed at moving industries to specified areas.

The plots allotted are of 100 sq meters, 150 sq meters and 250 sq meters, and one measuring 27.75 sq meters, a DSIIDC spokesman said.

The allotted plots are located in the industrial estates developed by the DSIIDC at Bawana and Bawana-II (Bhorgarh).

With this, the number of plots allotted by DSIIDC under the relocation scheme rises to 22,472.

The relocation scheme was launched by the Delhi government in 1996 with the Supreme Court's approval to enable industrial units to relocate from residential and non-conforming areas to approved industrial areas.
