Mangalore, Mar 31: A gun shot was fired at Kadri Temple here on Sunday March 31.

Prakash Sherigar, owner of Avinash Mosaic Industries, Kulshekar had been to the Temple along with his family to offer prayers. Just as he was emerging out of the smaller Durgaparameshwari Temple in the premises, he heard a gun shot.

On looking around, he found a bullet fallen nearby.

It is not known yet who fired the shot or why. No one seemed to have noticed the culprit.

However, CCTVs installed in the premises may provide a clue, sources said.

ACP Kavitha, circle inspector Raghav Padil and other police staff rushed to the spot.

Investigations are on.

Speaking to media persons later, Prakash Sherigar brushed aside the incident saying that it might be some stray shot fired by some person. He asserted that he has no threat to his life.

Wonder who is playing tricks after Congress won the MCC.
When BJP was in power, Congress did not trouble them like this'
Very low type of mentality - not doing any good by themselves and not allowing others to do good too.
Most of them are uneducated\short on morals - that is why jealous of the present authority of MCC
