In a note of retrospection, he further said, "This place reminds of the 2008 church attacks. This is the place where our people were beaten up. Now that elections are coming, let us use it as a weapon to teach a lesson. There are only two types of parties - one that gave us justice and another that did injustice to us. Let us cast cent percent votes and see that those who did injustice do not get a single seat.

"In the ULB elections we a did a few mistakes like having two Christian candidates from the same place. This time we will ensure that there is no mistake," he added.

"In 2020 India will be young India, with a vast majority of people below 40 years. The country will be in the hands of the youth," he said, urging youngsters to take up government jobs, get into business and other professions and work hard.

Addressing the gathering, Walter Nandalike also showered praises on the musical nite and said that when Maxim contacted him about the event, he first asked if the song Manasa would be played. "It is my all-time favourite song and I came today to hear it live from the singer himself," he said. He also appreciated the comedy group and said that though they were new faces, they showed amazing talent and they must make use of this platform as a stepping stone to achieve more.
