Sad as this case is, and without attempting to analyse the reasons behind this or any other specific accident involving motorbikes, it needs to be said that despite bikes being the most dangerous form of motorized transport, most bike riders ride as if they are in the greatest of hurry. They will swerve, cut in front of and try to squeeze into gaps at high speed in front of much larger vehicles. I sometimes get the feeling that Mangalore Bike Riders almost feel they are invincible and feel that nothing will happen to them. Sadly when it does they pay with their lives and cause a whole lot of grief to other road users who may unfortunately be involved in the mishap.
