Udupi: Missing woman found drowned in Pangala rivulet

Udupi, Apr 6: The body of Radhika (30), residing in the neighbourhood of Kaipunjal graveyard near Kaup, who had gone missing five days back, was found from Pangala rivulet near Byari Thota in Kaipunjal on Friday April 5.
Radhika was reported missing from her home since April 1. She had completed her matriculation, but used to suffer from certain psychological disorder. She was being treated for this condition, but often got suffered from bouts of depression.
Some locals, who saw Radhika’s body floating in the rivulet on Friday, conveyed the information to her family. After the body was identified, the mortal remains of Radhika were fished out of the rivulet with the help of local divers led by Kaup Soori Shetty.
A report in this connection was filed at Kaup police station. The policemen have begun investigation.
