Very unfortunate incident. Though minor accidents are common this part of Kodimar-Indar, this scene indicates that driver was speeding up and lost control.

Carrying labour on roof or sitting on top of load is really dangerous. They should be made sit inside trucks. They are human beings too.

After many years of pending requests with many authorities, recently we got the road widened bit with new tarmac tempting our local drivers to speed up in this route. Moreover road from Belman to Mundkur near Kodimar is downhill too. I am sure this Tempo Driver might have in high speed looking at the new road condition and lost his control while approaching downhill road. Probably once in a decade this kind of accident happens in our locality otherwise peaceful area without any incidents. May God rest the soul of deceased in peace forever
