Puttur, Apr 9: In an incident of moral policing reported from Nellikatte here on Monday April 8 afternoon, a group of 12 youth assaulted a student, taking umbrage at his action in talking to a girl student.

The injured student got admitted into the government hospital here. He has also filed a police complaint.

Zubair, a resident of Purusharakatte in Narimogru village in the taluk, was the victim. He is pursuing computer training in a private educational institute in the town.

The use of children and youth by Sangh Parivar to carry out attacks, including destroying private properties, is well known. As part of the practice of including them in violent activities and in terror-supporting operations, children and youth are sent to participate in demonstrations and in confrontations with the Muslim youth (at times they are taken out of school for this purpose). Sangh Parivar also uses them for election campaigning, carrying placards during political processions, spying and intelligence-gathering on minority communities etc.
This is how they wants our youth to come up in life? Very Saaaad!

    100% correct about the Police.
They are puppets of the politicians and not law and order maintaining personnel.
Such a sorry state of affairs in the State of Karnaaka, especially in Mangalore to maintain law and order.

I hope and pray that these goondas from the illegal moral policing organisation, by mistake beat up BJP ministers relatives and relatives of the people who support them.
They actually do not know who they are beating up.
By the way, what happened to the girl - is she under sang parivar\RSS\BJP custody or under house arrest.
Why the parents are admitting their children to cosmopolitan colleges\schools where students of all religion study\meet\discuss and INTERACT WITH each other in the college campus or when they meet outside. Can these MP prove that the above boy and girl were hatching a plan to elope or talking of love? Do they have any proof?
These very orthodox (RSS\SP etc) should have their own colleges\schools for their children with strict control over them, not allowing them to talk with anyone at all.

Some day soon, this also will come to a state like the underworld settling scores with each other, without the help of police.

If Hindu fundamentalists are moral police, then Hindu readers in this forum defend the culture vulture.

If Muslim moral police do 'one time' act, then muslims will defend saying 'this is in response to theirs'.

When we do not see any improvement, the affected parties will form 'small armies' to settle score, and Mangalore will be in headlines.

Can we readers in this forum, vouch to be neutral communally and active only humanely?

What is right constitutionally, we support that, and what is against the constitutional freedom, we are against that?

Can we? Do we have that much of education, generosity and national pride to rise above the personal affiliations?

That will be the day, atleast in this forum.

WOW, What a splendid comment Ms. Jasintha, if every Indian starts to think like this then there will be no religious calamity. Swami Vivekananda has quoted: All who have actually attained any real religious experience never wrangle over the form in which the different religions are expressed. They know that the soul of all religions is the same and so they have no quarrel with anybody just because he or she does not speak in the same tongue.

Why only politician, rich people has personal life, not common man ?
Youths, who were partying in Padil home stay doesn't have personal life?
Girls partying in Mangalore pub, doesn't have personal life?
Do I need to take permission from Sang Parivar members, to speak to my female classmate or girl next door belonging to other religion?
