Mangalore: Underworld overtones in murder of transport firm manager

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Apr 9: The circumstances in which Prashanth (35), manager of Adinatheshwara Roadlines in the city, was killed by a gang on the night of Sunday April 7 near Mangala Bar in Valencia here, point out to the involvement of an underworld gang in the murder. The gang had followed him from Polali car festival, before getting an opportunity to murder him in the city, it is surmised.

Assistant commissioner of police, T R Jagannath, said that there are apparently no cases filed against Prashanth.

"In the crime world, while some are involved directly, some others are indirectly involved. The criminals, who might have come to know that Prashanth was involved with criminal activities tactfully without getting noticed, may have decided to kill him," said the ACP.

He added that the police have got some leads about the accused involved with the murder, and expressed confidence of arresting them as soon as possible.

The gang, besides hacking Prashanth to death, had also badly damaged his Fortuner car. Thereafter, a channel had received a call from a person identified as Vicky Shetty, who claimed that the murder was an act of revenge for the killing of Bejai Raja, who was the main accused in the murder of another person with criminal background, Pandu Pai.

Prashanth, son of Sundar from Saripalla, was unmarried. The family now lives in Kunjathbail in the city.

All these because of the faulty judiciary...why do we have to think a common man just see what was happened to our Prime minister Rajive Gandhi where are those who committed crime still they enjoy their life with 3 times food with out any job. just think if this situation would have been in saudi arabia would any one can do like this? NO...NEVER....moreover practically its IMPOSSIBLE TO IMPLEMENT THAT RULE IN INDIA because if it put up majority of our leaders would not have head and all most all will become handicapped...so does it practically applicable my dear?????
