Mangalore: M G Hegde, others to join Congress?

Mangalore, Apr 9: M G Hegde, who had deserted the Congress some time back and joined JD(S), before leaving that party again, is reportedly considering coming back into the Congress fold.
There is information that along with M G Hegde, Shashiraj Shetty, and some others are making preparations to join Congress.
M G Hegde held a meeting with people loyal to him in the city on Monday April 8 in this connection.
In all likelihood, some more JD(S) leaders may announce their decision to leave the party on Wednesday. After that, a large group of party workers led by M G Hegde are likely to join the Congress.
It may be recalled that M G Hegde along with Nagaraj Shetty and several others had parted ways with the JD(S) after internal conflicts cropped between some of the leaders and party workers. The situation turned worse when JD(S) district minority unit president was reportedly suspended, leading to mass resignations. While Nagaraj Shetty joined back BJP soon after, M G Hegde and others are now expected to join Congress.
