Dubai: Udyavar Muslim Unity celebrates its fifth year

Dubai, Apr 9: It was a memorable day for the members of Udyavar Muslim Unity - UAE, spread across UAE as they celebrated five glorious years of togetherness in UAE at the Ibrahimi Palace Party Hall Dubai, here.

Formed in the year 2008 under the able leadership of Haji Abdul Jaleel Saheb, the association has grown over the years with the commitment and dedication of the members of the unity.

The event began around 2.30 pm with Unity’s Hon President Haji Abdul Jaleel Saheb taking charge of the proceedings.

Unity’s President Khaiser Mohd Abu, first vice president Hussain Ibrahim, second vice president Afzal Rasheed were present on the dais.

Suhail Nazeer Patayath recited the verses from the Holy Quaran to begin with.

Second vice president Afzal Rasheed welcomed the gathering and thanked the people who helped the association grow over last five years.

Auditor Nazeer Hussain Patayath presented the audit report of the financial year.

Chief treasurer Ashraf Sattar presented a brief report about the achievements of the Unity, especially about the work undertaken by unity in its last five blessed years.

Media in-charge Amzad Rasheed announced the winners from the sports meet 2013 and guests on stage awarded the winners with trophy’s and medals.

Honorary president of the unity, Haji Abdul Jaleel Saheb applauded the dedication and sacrifices of its Members for the welfare of the unity.

Unity’s president Khaiser Mohd Abu delivered vote of thanks.

The event came to an end with games like Islamic and general knowledge quiz, housie-housie, and raffle draw.
