The event witnessed the logo release by the President, which was designed by Manoj Kumar. The MC for the first half of the event, Purshottam Kuckian beautifully narrated the rationale of the logo. The two warriors of Tulu nadu, Koti and Chennaya are depicted in front of the Garodi, with rays of light flashing out of the windows and arrow pointing outwards resembling the growth and development of the Billava community.

After the release of logo, the General Secretary read out the newly drafted Constitution, which was approved by gathered members with a laud of applause.

The President, Mohandas Poojary in his speech, appealed to all the Billavas in Kuwait to join hands and make Billava community stronger which will help serve the community members in Kuwait and back home better.

The advisor, AK Ravindra in his address to the members said that, he was proud to be associated with the first management committee of Billava Sangha Kuwait and expressed his happiness that the youngsters actually took the initiative to form the association with the advise of elders and also requested the newly formed committee to continue with the same spirit of unity.

The cultural programs started with a dance on the tunes of Yekka Sakka, as the sister’s joy knew no bounds while her brothers Koti and Chennaya, the warriors of Tulu Nadu arrived home. The audience loved the melodious song rendered by Jyothi Sudhir Suvarna and Gautham Suvarna, which was followed by a pleasant song by a guest singer Aziz Mumbai which was very much appreciated by the audience. A comedy skit depicting the results of blind superstitions in our society, by Mahesh Poojary, kept the audience enthralled. Anil Kumar’s devotional Ganapati dance left the audience asking for more. What’s more, the Billava children mesmerized one and all to give the finale performance with dance on popular Hindi songs. A lucky draw was organized with exciting prizes for the members and the cultural event was very elegantly hosted by Ashwitha Surendra.

The Vote of thanks has been rendered by the General Secretary and the program concluded by singing the Indian National Anthem, which was followed by delicious snacks.
