Two NATO soldiers killed in Afghan chopper crash


Kabul, Apr 10 (IANS): Two NATO soldiers were killed Tuesday when a helicopter crashed in Afghan region, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said.

Earlier Tuesday, local media reported that the chopper was crashed in Pachir Wa Agam district, eastern Nangarhar province bordering Pakistan, Xinhua reported.

A Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed that a US helicopter had been shot down in Nangarhar in the morning.

However, the ISAF ruled out an militant involvement in the incident.
