Dubai: Samoohika Shree Satyanarayana Puja held

Dubai, Apr 11: Shree Satyanarayana Pooja Samithi, UAE have vibrantly concluded their sixth annual 'Samoohika Shree Satyanarayana Pooja' recently at JSS Private School, Al Safa, here.

Purohit Jayaprakash Nidwannaya who arrived from Mumbai for the purpose did the Puja proceedings in the beautifully erected flower Mantap on the stage. On behalf of the Samithi, Gururaj Acharya and Pavithra Acharya couple sat on the pedestal during the Puja formalities.

The Puja formalities started at around 4 pm with Kalasha Prathistapana which was witnessed by leaders and members of various community organizations. 

Mithabail Giridhar Naik and Yermal Raghavendra Poojary rendered Bhajans in their golden voices while Thekkatte Anand Shanbhague supported them with harmonium, Shanker with violin, Raghu on tabla and Sunil Naik on Tala who took off the devotees to spiritual world. 

Later after the Mangalarathi there was Sumangale Bhagena formalities carried on with Manjula Ganesh Rai, Kasturi Keshav Mallya, Smitha Ashok, Riya Bangera and Subhadra Pramila.

Purohit Jayaprakash who did the pooja formalities devotionally was later honoured while ten member group lead by Ramanand Belapu performed dance Bhajan around the main 'Nanda Deepa' installed just below the Puja Mantap decorated with flowers.

Puja formalities continued until 9 pm with Maha Mangalarathi and Prasada distribution which was ably done by the members of Varalaxmi Pooja Samithi.  Later Maha Prasada, delicious vegetarian dinner buffet were served to all devotees which was arranged by Narayana Seva Samithi members prepared by Swadisht Restaurant, Karama.

Shantaram Achar proposed the vote of thanks and the Puja programme concluded at 9.30 pm.

All the committee members were successful in conducting this sixth annual Samoohika Satyanarayana Pooja in a pure devotional way.
