There is substance in what Mr. Shetty said and there is nothing to read between the lines in what he said. It is high time we had a say in the canditate and fight for the candidates of our choice.

The mutts play a big role in politics right from ing the candidates till electing the CM. It is high time the muslims along with other minorities and socially backward classes get united and have a say in politics otherwise we may be left far behind.

Eshwarappa has always been the text book example of foot in the mouth politician. He will be remembered as the best politician for his goof ups of Karnataka BJP. He can pass off as a clown in Gemini Circus after he has to forcibly quit and would have lost his deposit.
If he wanted to make such a statement he should have produced proof and evidence to make it a watertight case.
Sad but true we are truly a divided state by several factors like religion, language etc. which is being misused by low grade politicians like Eshwarappa, BSY, Kumaraswamy et all. They have become a generation of entitlement leaders who are setting a wrong precedent to the future generation of this country. None of these guys have helped Dakshina Kannada or Udupi districts to progress and see greater days which an educated society with a very high literacy rate deserved. It is a sad state of affairs.
BSY being angry, weren’t these two clowns hanging out together last year. Politics is such a sham.

Telling that 68 Brahmin girls were enticed (kidnapped) by youths of other community, is actually an insult to Brahmin community as a whole. Because it indirectly suggests that Brahmin girls are Characterless. In future no Brahmin boy may come forward to marry Brahmin girl from Shimogga thinking that they are not Chaste.
Brahmin Associations should force Eshwarappa to retrace his words and apologize in public for his such irresponsible comment on Love Jihad particularly mentioning Brahmin Community.

Every daiji readers has taken time to post and react Well done. ISH may not be honest and sincere, may be corrupt blah blah But What is love jehad ? Does it have any proof or does it exist ? Curious to know and find the truth, I have personally visited the notice board of Sub Registrar office and checked personal page of Daily newspapers for Change of name announcements. If readers closely watch and read newspaper columns for change in name and hear about disappearance of young women and girls, there is some substance.

ISH may be talking about it with reference to elections in mind but there is some substance. Right from the famous Saumya Bhat case of Puttur, girls from other communities are targeted and lured away. Whats more with law being biased, four wives, this Love jihad is not a myth. While there is no force in the world can stop youngsters from loving and marrying a person of choice, stealing deliberately from others is terrible.

Finally if some one does not believe in Love Jehad, there are like bird who is burying his head in the sand. Due to individual's privacy I cant post the details of girls who are lured away in the past ten years from around my neighbourhood. Doctors, Nurses, Graduates, Shop assistants, Teachers, etc are simply trapped and converted. If anybody still wants see latest victims just read the news paper personal columns of any daily or notice boards of Sub Registrar of marriages at Taluk office.

ISH is a BJP DCM and if he has substance to prove that why he(they) don't ask to probe such pony issues?Either by state Police or Lokayukta or CBI or any agencies which deemed OK for communal BJP.
In which circumstance he is fooling voters? Being responsible Cabinet minister and ex chief of the State unit of National Party,BJP, he has responsibility and accountability for what he is talking!

ISH's concern is he may loose election very badly even deposit loss and that's why he is desperate to use such cards to fool the voters.

By the by Dock what is your reaction about his currency counting and gold weighing machine?How about a reigning DCM subject to Lokayukta raid and had SUBSTANCE to arrest him!! instead still enjoying DCM seat!!!!

From Auto driver to pan beeda shop wala to DC is corrupt I mean no regard for law of the land. No aherence to guidelines. My response is to DR . Kiran .
You have written well , but it doesnt change the fact that inspite of being a DR. either medical or honary(phd), you cant disguise the communal element you feel to the muslim segment of society . If Gandhi had not managed to cuminate the practice of SATI and start the ideology of abolishing caste system we would not have been were we are today . The very idea of abolishing the same is to have society mix and mingle between different cultures .. Just from a logical perception you mentioned that these girls fell prey or were conned .Even if that were the case and considering equality of rights bestowed by the judiciary these women were definetly of marriageable age .. So it was consensual .. and if the men in question that managed to convince so many women from your own neibhourhood i would sum it up as the better men/ man got his due .and for the rest its just a case of sour grapes .. Also please note that the judicairy supports divorce too and so does the sharia law .

But when the state DCM says 68 girls and not one girl can come out and register a complaint with the government being from his party then it reflects a total failure of law and order more than anything else .
68 is not a small number in any measure to be missing from the same place and for a span of 6 months . This could have been the biggest news breaker as it would mean simple the mass abuse of women and would not only have the women up in arms would have the whole country's undivided attention to get the perpetrators of such attrocity and the single issue would have ben enough to get his party elected.
Irrespective of politics it is every logical(not necessarily educated )persons responsibility to society to forget propagate even remotely support such callous statements from established leaders of the state.If even an iota of truth its everyone's responsibility to get justice for the women & equally otherwise to hold the DCM responsible for irresponsibilty

The controversial word "love jihad" has been coined and widely used by communual forces like sangh parivar and its member organisations to preach n spread hatred in the society. here he mentioned all girls belong to one brahmin community to stress his point and draw attention from fundamentalists. I ask him through this portal to give the name, fathers name, surname and address of the so called "missing brahmin" girls so independent groups can authenticate the claim. This yakshagana kalavida is not even good for throwing him to dust bin. A bunch of fools formed a communual party only to devide society and polarise vote banks..
