Mangalore, Apr 11: The police have made a breakthrough in the Prashant murder case with the arrest of four accused.

Prashant alias Pachu, manager of transport firm Adhinateshwara Roadlines, was brutally murdered by a gang of 7-8 persons on the night of Sunday April 7 near Mangala Bar at Valencia.

The arrested are Bhavanishankar from Bajal, Praveen Kalladka, Naveen alias Pili Naveen, and Munna Uppala.

Among them Bhavanishankar alias Shankar is also an accused in the notorious KVG murder case that had rocked Sullia in 2011.

Sources said that the police arrested them at Kumble in Kasargod district, based on a tip-off provided by one Santosh.

The police raided their hideout and recovered a gun, four swords and the car which they used in the crime.

no one will ever come forward to give witness for any crime or accident, as the police are so CARELESS AS TO DISCLOSE THEIR IDENTITY , AS IN THIS CASE. mR SANTHOSH , I hope u havent given ur real name. sameway as in the case of 36 cops being arrested for bribery , willthey leave the photographer mr khan in peace,. already the harrassment to him or his fly must have started. all the people, there are good cops, but pls keep urselves, away from these, as,even if one is good there cold be some TEN traitors who could disclose ur identity. Jai Hind.

Now what stupidity act of Police is this revealing the name of the Tip off to media & Public ? who will guarantee their safety ? The police acts so carlessly that no public will want to co-operate with the law inforces even during some major state-threatning incedents if they disclose their inforcers to public.

Well done, these men are just hired to kill. Actual culprits lie elsewhere, these men are the only means to get to the actual culprits. Ofcourse the actual culprits may not be brought to book at all - depending on their position.
