Mangalore, Apr 15: A body of a man was found near Kelarai church close to Neermarga here on Monday April 15 at around 11.30 am.

The deceased has been identified as Krishnappa Poojary (58), a building contractor by profession.

Sources said that Krishnappa received a call on Sunday April 14 afternoon, and went missing the same evening. He went out all alone in his Bolero car and did not return.

On Monday, the family got the news that Krishnappa had committed suicide. Liquor bottles were reportedly found in his car.

However, the family claimed that Krishnappa was a teetotaler and that he was poisoned to death.

Family sources also claimed that several persons had taken huge amount of loans from Krishnappa and owed him Rs 35-50 lac, and hence he might have been murdered, they said.

Krishnappa has two sons Puneeth and Nishant.

The body was sent to Wenlock for post-mortem.

A case has been registered in Kankanady rural police station.

Looks like you all have come to the conclusions someone who had taken loan fm him is the culprit ..
Do we need any police etc. to find out who is the murderer!!!?
It could be politicians involved in construction work etc etc. who arranged to send this guy away....

    Sharmila, Mangalore. Hi !!

The word ''worst'' is rapidly becoming obsolete from the Oxford Webster dictionary - atleast with today's rapid deterioration of law and order in the whole of Karnataka. I construe they have no other better / haven't thought of a better word than this up their sleeve to include in the dictionary. Our totally incapable, moron, maniac, insane politicians - useless piece of s**ts from Karnataka can help unscramble it for the betterment of Mangalore. Guess even Oxford will not be able to help.
