2,200 UAE citizens get registered for discounts


Dubai, April 16 (IANS/WAM): Around 2,200 citizens in the UAE, working in the private sector, have registered in a programme that will grant them discounts and special offers, the ministry of labour said.

The Absher Initiatives programme was launched by President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Those registered with the programme would benefit from services offered by 17 government and private entities participating in the programme.
