Kundapur, Apr 21: Some miscreants damaged the car windshield of Udupi taluk panchayat member Bharath Kumar Shetty, a supporter of Halady Srinivas Shetty who is an independent candidate for the assembly elections from the Kundapur constituency. The incident took place on April 19 at night.
According to reports, Bharath Kumar Shetty (53), a resident of Moodigili had parked his car near Kota bus stand and left to Brahmavar for the election campaign. On his return, Shetty realized that some miscreants damaged his vehicle.
It is learnt that political vengeance must be the motive for the incident. Accordingly, a case has been registered at the Kota police station.
