Three persons arrested in Bangalore blast case

Chennai, Apr 23 (PTI): Chennai Police have arrested three persons in connection with last week's blast near the BJP office in Bangalore that left 16 persons injured.

According to top police sources, Karnataka Police were assisted by their Tamil Nadu counterparts in a late night operation, in which two persons -- Peer Mohideen and Basheer hailing from Tirunelveli were arrested from a lodge here.

The third person was arrested from Madurai, they said, adding the trio facilitated the blast while the main culprits were still at large.

Four men were recently detained in Kerala for their alleged involvement in the case.

The arrested are being taken to Bangalore for further investigation, sources said.

The Karnataka government had announced a reward of Rs five lakh to those who provide information on the culprits responsible for the April 17 blast.

    Appreciate the precise catch by Boston Police. Hope our men in uniform also have wisdon and training to nab right suspects. All and sundry arrests damage the credibility and expose incompetence. A special team to be formed and if necessary to be trained in international institutions if our country is unable to impart special training. This will minimise the future risks.

    if there is connection between b'lore blast and Coimboture Blast there will be question will rasie why any organisation will do bomb blast just before the election like Coimboture blast which helped BJP and its allies AIADMK and swept all over TN in parliment election?

    if there is connection between Coimbatore Blast with the bangalore incident there should be infuence by the intenal people with other organisation which helped BJP and its allies AIADMK in TN in Coimboture blast.even blast happend before 5 hours of Advani visit.

    When this blast news was published on 17th of April, everybody started commenting on Congress, BJP, RSS etc etc, but today when the suspects are arrested, nobody has any comments...any reason? Anti-nationals are only clicking disagree on each comment shows their biased crooked nature!

    Seems like our own NIA & Bomb Squad specialists who solved the case in the matter of seconds other day in this forum will take a day off now after seeing these surprice " RSS/BJP" supporters(according to their belief), this means BJP/RSS foot prints & supportors increasing in TN ? Some congress leaders wanted the result before June 5th !, Now I guess they want it to be delayed ?
