Mangalore, Apr 24: M Abdul Azeez Kudroli, corporator of Kudroli ward has been appointed as the president of district minority cell, as per instructions by party state president H D Kumaraswamy, said M B Sadashiv, district president of JD(S), addressing a press meet at the party office here on Wednesday April 24.

Speaking on the upcoming Assembly elections, he said all necessary preparations are going on in full swing and clarified that there are no internal problems in the party.

"Just when the party was growing strong in the district, some people within the party created problems, but they are not in the party anymore," said Sadashiv.

Sounding quite confident of JD(S) chances in the elections, he said, "The election will spring up surprise results. BJP candidates are the toughest to beat, but our party members are working hard to defeat them."

Commenting on Congress, he said there are internal problems in the party which will prove them costly.

"There are various problems in the district like lack of housing, drinking water, electricity and unemployment to which elected representatives of other parties have failed in responding. Hence there is a need for change which can be brought about only through JD(S)," said M B Sadashiv, assuring thatJD(S) will give good administration and bring peace in the society if elected.

On the occasion, Muzamil who was the state secretary of BSR Congress joined the party.

S P Chengappa, candidate for Mangalore south, Gulam Mohammed, candidate for Mangalore north, Krishnappa Poojary, Sushil Noronha, Vasanth Poojary, Azeez Kudroli among others were present.

Poor guy wasting his time. JDS is not going to win even a single seat in D.K. Motive behind father & son is to win few seats in Karnataka and sell to the party who falls short later.. We should not get trapped..

JDS in Mangalore has lost all the charm what it used to have in the 90's. It had some name with leaders like Late Mr. Anthony D'Souza, KB Balraj Rai, Late Mr. JS Noronha, Ms. Judith Masacarenhas, Mr. Suresh Ballal. During the 90's the JDS won 8 seats in the corporation election. Now these leaders have spoilt the name of JDS in Dakshina Kannada.
