Mangalore, Apr 26: The electronics and communication department of Bearys Institute of Technology in association with ‘Elecsa’organised a state level technical paper presentation cum competition ‘Elecsa Prastuti-13’ on April 24.
More than 60 participants from various engineering colleges across the state had participated in the competition.
Beginning with the inaugural function professor Aijaz Ali Khan, head of department of EC department, welcomed the gathering.
Chief guest Dr Muralidhar Kulkarni, head of department,EC department, NITK Surathkal addressed the students and wished BIT to be a world class engineering college in the years to come.
Principal Dr SA Khan and chief advisor Dr SK Raikar were also present on the occasion. Prof.Azeez Musthafa, from PA College of Engineering, Mangalore and professor Mahesh PK of MITE, Moodabidri were the judges.
Sudhir Kumar and Vikas Shenoy of Vivekananda Engineering College Puttur secured first place, Rijjul and Ritheesh of St Joseph college of Engineering secured second place, Prashanth and Avinash of Canara College of Engineering, Kavya and Manila of MITE , Apoorva Hegde of NMAIT received consolation prizes.
The event was co-ordinated by Vinay.P and Mubeena Perveen Taj. Rahul, Anisha and Rafiya compered the programmed.
