Mangalore, Apr 26: Former union minister, prominent BJP leader, and leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, will be visiting the city on Saturday April 27. He is scheduled to attend the programme being held by Citizens Council at Sangh Niketan here, and deliver a lecture at 6 pm.

This information was provided by the convener of Citizens Council, M K Suvrath Kumar, at a press conference held here on Thursday April 25. Jaitley will be speaking on ‘India 2020 – possibilities and challenges’.

Retired brigadier of Indian Army, P N Rai, will be the chief guest. Founder president of Karavali group of educational institutions, S Ganesh Rao will preside, he said.

Explaining that the city-based Citizens Council has been functioning among the conscious and likeminded citizens of the city since the last four years, he recalled that eminent personalities like Arun Shourie, Dr Subrahmaniam Swamy and Stephen Knapp had presented their thoughts in the previous programmes of the council.

President of the council, Bhaskar Devasya, and Ravichandra, were present at the press conference.

I too welcome Mr. Jaitley with a hug (not like Judas, you guys always have that crooked mind)
He is an all rounder - educationwise\sports\law and manipulation.
He is much much better than any other politician, very clean (shaven) and straight forward. So far not involved in any scams\corruptions publicly (only here in the forum they make jokes of his association with Reddys' I do not believe that. He is clean like a whistle!!
Eskey can shed light on this. Eskey Sir .. pls..

Mr. Jaitly...we have seen BJP's ruling at the centre and also in our state. There is no doubt that in case by mistake BJP comes to power, India will be looted and people will die of communal violence's. You will never allow India to be like before and will never allow people to sleep sound sleep.

Jaitely's 2020 with Manmohan as a umpire, the match is screwed. And if Gadkari a medium fast bowler, the entire series a walk-over.(IF).

He is coming so early because he is not sure what will happen to BJP in another few months. besides immediately after 2020, he has to attend singles with Gadkari in a clay court.
