Dubai: Dream come true for Jains in UAE - New association formed

Dubai, Apr 28: It was a dream come true for all Jains in the UAE, mainly from Karnataka, when several youths of the community came together recently to form an association by the name of 'Jain Milan'.

It was a long-cherished dream of Jain youths in the UAE to come together under one umbrella. The process was finally initiated by Sandesh Jain Angadibettu, Jitesh Kodipadi and Aravind Kumar Moodbidri along with well-wishers.

Under leadership of P Devkumar Kambli, chartered accountant and businessman in Dubai, around 60-70 Jain youths came forward with their family members to form an association under the banner of Jain Milan.

A get-together in this regard, organized just before Mahavir Jayanthi, was a great way to interact with community members spread throughout the UAE.
