M'lore: 'Nanna Pratibhe Nanna Bimba' summer camp ends on high note

Mangalore, Apr 30: Re-chal Social Service Society (R), Bhatnagar, Thokkottu; Konkani Cultural Language and Tradition (KCLT) Samudaya Abivradhi Sangha (R) Ullala, Jaiveera Maaruthi Vyayama Shale Trust (R), collaborated to organize a three day summer camp called 'Nanna Pratibhe Nanna Bimba' personality development and leadership camp. 

It was organized at the click marriage hall on from April 20 to April 22.

The summer camp was inaugurated by N Shina Shetty, and Krishna Mulya N, Moses Jayashekar, assistant director of education department of Mangalore presided over the programme. 

Bharathi H, Vidyadhara Shetty, Demetriyas D'Souza, C K Rajan, Chandrakanth, Fr Pradeep, Ramesh, John D'Souza were the guests of honour on the programme.

Nirma D'Souza, director of Re-chal organization welcomed the guest and children Cyril D'Souza thanked everyone. Velita was the master of ceremony. The resources persons were welcomed and appreciated.

During 3 days of camp the following time table was followed.

On April 20 Arun gave a talk on time management  while in the noon session Fr Pradeep dwelt on improving self esteem. The second day began with a talk on mass media by Fr Richard followed by a group dicussion on children responsibility, values and talents by Nirma Dsouza. The noon session was filled with with a group quiz abd actions songs by Preema and Sushma. Nirma discussed more on talents and identifying them on the third day, while Irene Rebello conducted a personality development talk.

All the three days were filled activities for children such as debates, games, and action songs with appropriate breaks.

Pradeep D'Souza, Dist Statics officer, Mangalore, D.K. was the president of the concluding ceremony. In his presidential speech he appreciated the efforts of Re-chal society for conducting this camp and bringing the children together without caste and religion. This organization is a model to the society.

Rajeev Mendon, Nazeer Ahamad, Felix D'Souza, Hilery Cutinha, Franki Cutinha, Cyril Robert D'Souza, Robert Crasta, Nirma D,Souza director of the camp and Re-chal NGO were the guests on the stage.
 
During the valedictory, children were appreciated with awards. The guests were honored with a momento and flower bouquet. All the volunteers were honored with a momento.

94 children participated in the camp and benefitted with knowledge from the resource persons.  Cyril Robert D'Souza welcomed the guests, Kishore D'Souza presented the report and Nirma D'Souza director of Re-chal Society thanked everyone who helped the camp to be a successful one. Chandan was the master of the concluding ceremony of the summer camp.
