Sunny, warm day in Delhi


New Delhi, May 1 (IANS): A sunny, hot day lies ahead for Delhi Wednesday with the maximum temperature likely to settle around the 39 degrees Celsius mark, the met office said.

The morning was partly cloudy and the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 22.8 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday was warm and sunny as well. The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above average, and the minimum was 24.3 degrees, average for this time of the season.
