Mangalore: Second Divine Bible Convention inaugurated

Mangalore, May 5: The second Divine Bible Convention was inaugurated by bishop of Belthangady Mar Lawrence Mukkuzy, on Friday May 3, at Divine Prayer Centre Thokkottu, here.

Fr Joseph Vaniyamthara V C, director of the Divine Prayer Centre welcomed the gathering. Fr Joseph Edattu V C, assistant director of Divine-Potta Retreat Centre, along with Br Joykutty led the three-day convention.

 People from different parts of Mangalore participated in the programme.

Divine Prayer Centre belongs to Vincentian Congregation (Potta-Divine Fathers). One day retreats are held on every first Friday of the month. The centre provides family and individual counseling for people. Many people come for healing adoration, intercessory prayers and holy mass every Tuesday.
