Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (SP)

Karkala, May 7: The town police station here has received complaint about a missing girl.

Manjula (40), wife of the late T N Gowda, residing at LIG Housing Colony in Kukkundoor village in the taluk, has stated that her daughter, Rakshitha (18), has gone missing since May 4. In her complaint, Manjula said that her daughter had left home at around 8 am on May 4, on the pretext of collecting national entrance test form from Manipal.

Rakshitha has since then, neither contacted her family members, not returned home, nor visited the houses of her friends and acquaintances, the girl’s mother has claimed.

The policemen have registered the case and taken up investigation.

Features: The missing girl is about 4’8” in height, with wheatish complexion. She wore black kurta with white flower prints on the top with black legging pants. She wore a gold chain with a golden pendant with Lord Ganapati’s picture on it around her neck, and simple rings in ears, with a golden ring in her finger. Rakshitha knows Kannada, Hindi and English.

The police have requested those having any information about the above girl to convey the same to Karkala town police station (phone: 08258-230213), or district police office (phone: 0820-2534777)

We are praying for your safe return. Wherever you are Rakshitha, please keep in touch with your anxious mother, police or friends who can help you out. One phone call away and you will get all the help if you are in trouble. Since you went missing nobody can predict where you are and under what circumstances.

Although it is unfortunate for the widow mother of the girl, I don't think Bhandarkar has written anything wrong other than asking the girl to come home....!!!??? I don't think those who sympathize with this girl, make her to come home either...!!!?? Let us only hope that she is not raped and killed...!!?? Otherwise she will be back one day whether her choice is good or bad, which is not important at this point of time.

why should one immediately think of Amour when one young girl goes missing? of course these days thats not unusual but there are other instances where girls are misused and they were killed.or taken elsewhere .she was wearing Jewellery and it can also attract some un wanted clients.hope she returns back home safely .

    Hi Bhandarkar,
I did not find any double/filthy meaning in your rythamatic peotic way of expressing the facts. Let those who cannot digest your poetic skills or shari, let them be at their position of doing so. you continue man, readers like me shall appreciate your skills. Importantly, now one should take the comments personally, as you have brought to their attention. Good luck Bhandarkr mama.

    @Dear Flavian.....
It's plain and there for all to see.
However, here some have an 'ardent desire' to score over me or settle scores with me! Leave alone sympathizing with the mother or the daughter they are bothered about my Poetry, Shayari and what not! So one fellow comments about 'badimaga', being his brother and another one 'retorts' or 'comments' as if he has taken birth just to counter me! Bet, he feeds on my comment only! They want me to grow up. This when a lady for whatever reasons has left her home, leaving her widowed mother in the lurch! Really at a loss to grapple with these comments!

Mr. R.Bhandarkar, I agree with yoour vision. Why so many sympathisers for the girl who took a bold step to go missing (hope not eloped). We will wait for the good news when she will be traced with her paramour. (Beauty & Brain works!)

@ Rizwan, Jaimini, ABC, Jerry, Peace Lover...
What's the matter? Is requesting the girl to come back any which way so that her mother can find peace wrong?
For starters do you know what poetry, Shayari, means? And who is this BRG-Has he got any right to be personal in this forum? Won't he request his wife or sister to return in the same vein as I have done in this case? What 'sensitivity' are you talking about? Want to glorify her 'missing
antics' and ignore the plight of her mother?

I agree with you. By looking at her features(photo), she is good looking & matured enough for her age. All depends on the relation between her and her parents. Sometimes too much orthodox & religious treatment to your children leads to such situation.
However, lets think positive about her and wish her good luck.
Rakshitha, please come back to your parents after having enough fun. Your age is for studies & building up your career.
