Mangalore, May 8: The counting for eight Assembly constituencies in Dakshina Kannada district is under way at Canara College here.

The counting began at 8 am on Wednesday May 8. Counting of postal votes has begun.

Tight security has been deployed at the spot.

Results will be announced by noon, after 15-17 rounds of counting.
