Dammam: SKY members converge for fun day out

Media Release

Dammam, May 17: Saudi Konkan Youngsters (SKY) Dammam Saudi Arabia, recently organized a picnic for its members.

The day’s programme started with prayer lead by Leslie Ferrao.

Various exciting individual and group games were arranged for all the age groups. Three leg race for couples, breaking the pot, mixed cricket and tug of war were the special attractions of the day.

Breakfast and delicious lunch was served which was enjoyed by one and all. It was indeed an atmosphere of “home away from home” and the interaction with one another created a family togetherness among those present.

After lunch a health awareness session was conducted. The doctor who spoke about the lifestyle diseases, were more useful and educative to all those who were present. Mother’s day was celebrated by cutting the cake.

Trophies and prizes for winners were distributed by the sponsors and SKY committee members. Gold coin and surprise gift draw was conducted and the prizes were given away to the winners.

President Ronald Fernandes, Shirthady thanked and appreciated all the sponsors for their generous contribution and great gesture. He also thanked all the committee members for making the event a grand success and a memorable one.

The event came to an end successfully with the vote of thanks, leaving thrilling memories in the hearts of each and everyone present there. It was indeed a peaceful and memorable day, blessed with fine weather and SKY once again proved that they live by their Motto “Together we go further”.
