BJP sacks Karnataka treasurer Lehar Singh for attack on Advani

Bangalore, May 17 (PTI): BJP has sacked the Treasurer of the Karnataka unit, Lehar Singh Siroya, for his attack on party stalwart L K Advani.

Siroya, an aide of former Chief Minister and Karnataka Janatha Paksha supremo B S Yeddyurappa, in an open letter had alleged that Advani had compromised on corruption whenever it suited him.

BJP state unit President Prahlad Joshi today suspended him from the party with immediate effect and relieved him from the post of treasurer.

The party dismissed Siroya's allegations against Advani as "false" and "baseless".

    Lehar singh asked questions about what was quite well known in BJP & karnataka political circles. For example, why did Advani & sushma Swaraj work out a deal on behalf of the reddy brothers that meant the transfer of 64 officials known to be close to reddy. what was advani & Sushma's role in the whole illegal mining episode? I can understand why the BJP doesnt want to talk about it, but why is the media mum too?

    If your views are such then BJP should sack all the others involved in corruption. Those who own counting machine
    gold weighing scale etc. and some others.
    You cannot root for dual policies.
    I agree with you on that bad mouthing. Instead come out with proof and make such a claim. After all he was also (until yesterday)in the same party and knows how it functions.

    Instead of sacking him, ask him to prove his allegations against Advani. This is the second time such allegations levelled against him in a very short time. Of course Advani has nothing to worry personally.
    By sacking him, it looks as if it is a cover-up.
    Hanky panky things were going on earlier years when the pickings were in abundance and as Boris Becker put it "there is always a temptation in all of us to cheat......... " like the IPL players. They are paid handsomely still that temptation.....

    He was the only one who could speak fluent Hindi and was work as Middleman between Hindiwalas of Delhi and BJP people of Karnataka who were poor in Hindi & English. If this Marwadi broker is sacked then will be the middleman ?

    Marvadi Lehar is no longer required as BJP Box offices are empty. Advani is Bheeshma for BJP but no longer in grip. Corruption and Politics are inseparable. Modi posters did not garner vote for BJP so now Advani slogans by Joshi.

    Shushma Swaraj was earlier Blind-folded Gandhaari.
    Now she is pretending to be Kunti.

    Marwadi - Leher Singh was earlier "Investment Consultant" for all Corrupt BJP Ministers and guiding them where to invest their black money through his Mumbai connection. Now he is jobless as his clients have become dry. That is why this restlessness.

    Today's politicians don't dare to accept the reality...,What advaniji blogged is right.., either yeddy shouldh've been dismissed at the first stage when corruption charges cropped up or shouldh've retained till the end upto when he is proved to be guilt,which is normal practice of congress...,bad mouthing a senior leader whom even opposition party respects is completely wrong by this leher singh.delay in desion about yeddy cost heavily to BJP in karnataka...,

    Here the question is applicability of logic.Logic could not be applied for ive person. DAIJIWORLD given us a subject about LEHAR SINGH for which we are making our comments.DID LKA slept for 3-4 years when BSY was accused,FIRd and went for Jail?Fine for political compulsion, it was difficult to take clear cut decision for certain time because BSY is BJP in Ankara!If he repents for the actions of BJP, let him act against dozens of ministers and dozens of MLAs were accused,charged and FIRd in various corruptions cases!!!Let him take minimum action,ok @ least let them issue show cause notice!!!EVEN AN MISTER (EX)WHO ARE RAPED FRIEND'S WIFE NOT SERVED SHOW CAUSE NOTICE FROM THE PARTY TALKING ABOUT VALUES/ACCOUNTABILTY IN POLITICS?!!!!!
