Final list of ministers - Four from twin districts in, D K Shivkumar, Anil Lad left out

Bangalore, May 18: The final list of MLAs who would be taking oath on Saturday May 18 is out, hours before the swearing-in ceremony.

Highly placed sources told daijiworld that as expected, the four MLAs from the coastal region - U T Khadar (Ullal), Ramanath Rai (Bantwal), Vinay Kumar Sorake (Kaup) and Abhaychandra Jain (Moodbidri) have been given ministerial berths.

Senior leader R V Deshpande and actor-turned-politicians Ambareesh and Umashri too have been chosen.

The final list was screened and given the green signal by the AICC in New Delhi.

Suprisingly, the names of Anil Lad and D K Shivkumar are reportedly missing. This may have to do with the fact that the Congress high command as well as chief minister Siddaramaiah have been firm on not having any tainted ministers in the cabinet. However, even the final list has a few names that have cases against them. 

Trouble seems to be already brewing in the party with Anil Lad reportedly threatening to quit if he is not given a place in the ministry.

"I was assured of a ministerial berth, but now I have been left out," said a disappointed Lad, to which, a Congress leader retorted that Anil Lad can leave Congress if he wants to.

Names of Appaji Nadagowda and K R Ramesh Kumar were there in the list, but while Nadagowda's name was removed at the last miniute, Ramesh Kumar's name was withheld.

Speaking to reporters in Mysore, Siddaramaiah said that 29 ministers will be taking oath on May 18, and that tainted MLAs have been kept out.

    Ask Chougule Mining Co of Goa - how Anil Lad harassed them during Dharam Singh Govt and extracted Rs.Four Crores from them and also forcibly took away dug Iron Ore from Chougule's Mines, in the guise of helping a widowed mine owner.
    Chougule & Anil Lad both are of Maratha Caste from Maharashtra. Still Lad did not show any mercy.

    What one has to bear in mind is the fact that all elected M.L.A.'s cannot get berths. This is not indicate that the one not getting any ministry has a tainted record.

    Bearing the facts in mind all the ministers and M.L.A.'s must work together to ensure that the ruling party rules well and that full justice is done at all levels.

    Siddhu...mind you ...You have a long way to go (Walk) to the "Make Good" for all the "Wrong Doings" done by your predecessors and ruled state of Karnataka for the last couple years.

    As they rightly boast always & say what the "Congress Party" could not do it for last "60 years" after Independence ....They have done it in "Just 5 years" !!!! (For e.g Not 50 overs one day matches...just 20/20 IPL estyle!!!)

    "BJP" has a distinction for that. Don't ask what all dubious methods they have used to loot openly the "State's Exchequer".

    Happy to hear that 4 ministerial births are about to be given to the "Coastal Twin Districts" which is "Due" and if it is true, you have made "Justice" to the people of D.K & Udupi.

    Keep your "Growth & Development Mantra" on ....and stick to business (Administration).

    If one or two revolts here and there, please show them the door without fear!!! ( Nothing works without discipline!!!)

    You have a "Absolute Majority/Mandate" and it's you have to maintain good administrative control over the affairs of the state.

    I did ignore when you did make a comment on BABU RAO,whom I am not familiar with nor I supported him.I don't know what accusations he is facing and frankly I am not acquainted with his political or commercial activities.

    On the other hand it is(Cabinet colleague of Siddu) balanced and able group of law makers who has no corruption charges on their shoulder.I guess,Siddu will take all LS seats in coming election as BSY rightly put it that BJP will not able get single MP in coming election!!!

TAINTED MLAs were left out till they get cleared from cases.R.Beg,DKS LADDU are prominent among them.Siddu fought for corruption through out his political career and I think, probably in private you will accept that SIDDU becoming modern DEVARAJ URS.You can now expect scam free govt in Karnataka from Congress.
