Mangalore: Hate politics will get fitting response - BJP district in-charge

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, May 18: Dakshina Kannada BJP in-charge, Prathap Simha Nayak, said that Congress, intoxicated by its recent success, has been resorting to politics of vengeance in some parts of the district. “If the situation continues, we are prepared to retaliate,” he warned.

He said that the district unit of the party has been receiving reports of posing threats and assaulting the BJP activists. “If the Congress, which has got the mandate, works for the development of the district, we are prepared to cooperate. If they want friction, they will get it,” he said, addressing a press conference here on Friday May 17.

To take stock of the situation arising out of the defeat of the BJP candidates in the recent assembly election, and to review reasons for this drubbing, teams of the party will be visiting individual districts to hold consultations there. A team of BJP leaders will be visiting Dakshina Kannada district on May 21 in this connection, he said.

Nayak added that the district BJP unit will cogitate upon the defeat of the party candidates in the district under the leaderships of Suresh Kumar, Sunil Kumar, and Kota Srinivas Poojary.

He observed that the union government is neck-deep in corruption scandals, which get unravelled one after the other, adding that his party will be organizing a mega ‘Jail Bharo’ movement on May 27, to create an awareness among the people towards  the failure of the Congress in handling corruption, price rise, and security issues of the country.

Nayak welcomed the people-centric welfare measures announced by chief minister (CM), Siddaramaiah, but felt that the CM was wrong in making these announcements before the constitution of the state ministry, to further his own ego. “Some of his decisions have been taken in haste. He was wrong in withdrawing cow slaughter ban bill. Dakshina Kannada district has been seeing an upsurge in the incidents of theft of cows. The CM, instead of taking measures to strengthen the existing acts, says he would follow the 1964 act which does not have strict provisions. He should review his decisive, and affect cow slaughter ban in the state,” he urged.

MLC, Monappa Bhandary, Nitin Kumar, and Pushpalata Gatti, were present at the press conference.

People are very hopeful that siddu is going to wave a magic wand and the state will develop. There are already voices of dissent heard everywhere. Going by the history of propagation of caste politics and unending corruption by the congress party as a whole it is too early to pat the back of the congis. They are also human and will commit blunders. Already the people belonging to the communities of lobo & kader have started commenting in a big way as though no one else exists in coastal karnataka.

Listen Mr Nayak your days are over. BJP could not rule in one State what they will rule in India. BJP was cast based, communal and greedy. They have looted Karnataka. No diff between British & BJP. Congress is also looting but in a better way. They have no castism. BJP loots and inculcates castism. Remember this isa democractic country and not communal country like other countries. Largest democractic country in the world. Here the poor votes for the poor by the poor and to the poor. The loot is by the politician for the politician and to the politician.

The new Congress Govt. should conduct a CBI inquiry into the Church / Pub / Homestay attacks by the activists / outfits sponsored by the BJP. The truth should come out and the names of the actual persons involved. These incidents are still fresh in our minds and that is the reason why people of undivided South Kanara voted for a change ( Congress ). I hope the Congress will not let us down. Even the student community has voted for the Congress to end the menace of moral policing.

With the CBI inquiry we will get the moral police to face morality through the legal course.

Even in Puttur we have faced these hooligans.

Once everyone get into power politicians forget peoples needs. But they forgot that it was people who choosen them and even they can distroy them too. This will be the lesson learnt to all political party as Mr. Poojariji told in last press meeting.

    Dear Mr. Nayak
The DK/ Udupi result wouldn't have been possible but for the maturity shown by the ordinary Hindus of the district, who came out in large numbers to defeat the very hate politics you talked about. It takes a lot of maturity to emphatically reject hate politics in one's own name, and the Hindu majority have shown exactly that. The credit for defeat of hate mongering forces goes primarily to these voters. It is due to these Hindu brothers that i am proud to say again that I am from this district. for someone who indulges in hate politics day in and out you may not understand what I say, but that's expected

Naikre try to retaliate! Just give a try and if not try a 'mock drill'. I'm sure you will be made to run for cover at first such instance! Try to repeat one of your earlier state-sponsored jokes such as pub attack, church attack or even moral policing in Mangalore now using your 'Unemployed Wing! I'm sure you will never be able to address yourselves forget about press conferences thereafter! You don't have Yogish Bhat, the mute spectator and silent supporter and Palemar, the instigator and even Nagaraj Bhat, the man behind the infamous Mangalore riots of 2006. You are up against J R Lobo, Bava and Khader and Rai. Kalladka High Command is busy finding ways to escape from the future agony! So it's better you advise your 'Goons Wing members' to try finding some honest job now and get employed before they become 'unable to work' under 'handicap' quota even. The elections have shown that more than the minorities it is the Majority community that has revolted against self-styled 'protectors' and have voted out BJP. So beware of future wrath from Majority community itself. Better you comprehend the reading on the wall and resort to your dens without much ruckus! Neither the police department nor the district administration, not even the MCC is in your hands. Earlier you realise that your laboratory of South India has shut down permanently and the remote control in Kalladka is fast running out of 'battery'!

Cow is considered sacred in Varnashrama. but people are still supporting congress, in spite knowing that this has hurt the feelings of many. Good. Congress's next priority would be lifting the lottery Ban I think... people will still appreciate... People are talking about corruption in the state! what about in central? nobody cares? keep appreciating... Now goondas! when RSS beat up the pub goers, it created national outrage! (created by media), but people were fine when the congress goons brandish weapons on election day (media didnt make it outrage)... no outrage!? These actions are in just couple of weeks. They still got 4 years and 50 weeks. keep suffering, keep arguing ourself guys, while the politicians make money for themselves (Both Congress and BJP or any other party)...

This was the situations prevailed in Mangalore, Uneducated loafers in the name of morale policing beaten the girls, whether it is in ice cream parlour or even in restaurants. Now people of Mangalore wanted BJP to teach them a lesson and they have given their verdict. Now better for them to change their attitude. In DK there are already 2 cabinet ministers, one state minster and one cabinet in Udupi.
Action will start and pressure will build on the police force to act very stern. Even police force wanted to take action and they too were helpless.

BJP has not provided any alternative meat to beef at reduced prices rather the prices of all food items including meat has shot up so high, common man could not afford to have a decent meal.

Hope now, all the middle men who were receiving brokerage commission while selling beef by the vendors will stop AND hope the customers will pay less money for all food and meat items.

Definitely there will be some protest under the pretext of different issues but ultimately the vested interest will loose their brokerage commission.

Let them concentrate in their work of development, have progressive mind, be proactive in all important issue of life and ensure that D.K. gets back it name lost during the BJP rule. By doing so, congress will as good as give a befitting reply to BJP. Withdrawing cow slaughter bill was right but it is important that illegal cow slaughter or calf slaughter should be severely punished and also cows below the age of 10 (Cow life span is 20 years) should not be slaughtered. Mr Nayak,

Who started the policy of hate and devide?? You and your party and RSS are pioneers in hate speeches and communual tensions. Where were you when your parivar organisations were thrashing general public in the name of culture?? Its good that at least now with the victroy of congress peace would return and hate shall end. But the pioneers of hate need to be punished and beaten up. If you feel that you will be thrashed, you better resign from BJP and join congress so that you shall be safe. When you people beat others you forget that one day will come for your turn and you shall too be beaten up. This law of the nature and every dog has its own day.

Who did hate politics ? Come on Mr. Prathap Simha Nayak, isn't it your party cadre who tried to assault the Muslim youth who were standing on the roadside after they refused to smear vermillion on their forehead... hate politics is practiced by your party. Why don't you retaliate your own party ? Stop playing dirty politics.. Your party's deeds are exposed. In the next election, you will be reduced to single digits!

    Nayak,

What about the hate politics of BJP/RSS? Why you didn't take the mandate as befitting response by the people of Karnataka?

When all those hatred goons of RSS created ruckus in the society seems like you were in deep slumber?

You need to be in oblivion at least for next 5 years and let your MLA's function in the assembly as a responsible opposition.
