Yemeni president commends ties with UAE


Sana'a, May 20 (IANS/WAM): Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi has praised his country's relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The president said it in a statement on the occasion of the swearing-in of Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Yemen to the UAE.

He said that the position holds particular importance due to the unique and important relationship between his country and the UAE.

President Hadi also wished the ambassador success in his duties in promoting relations between the two nations.
