This arrangement of mass marriages are really welcome as the ceremonies are performed at one place, at one given time and almost hassle free. Importantly, so much un-necessary expenses are saved, which are usually quite a sizeable amount and many families of the couples go for loans with high interest or even mortagaging the properties they own to cover the expense.
All couples and their families can be advised and made to understand demand for any dowry is against the law & the punishments meted out if any one demands dowry.`
It makes easy for the authorities to explain all this during mass marriage ceremony.
